Placing of Shares


Bristol & London PLC ("Bristol & London" or the "Company"), one of the UK's
leading specialist prestige motor credit hire companies is pleased to announce
that Mr Richard Abel, Chief Executive and Founder, has reduced his holding in
the Company to improve liquidity.


Mr Richard Abel has reduced his holding from 95.3 per cent. to 90.1 per cent. of
the issued share capital of the Company by selling a total of 1,268,665 ordinary
shares of 1 pence at 90 pence each to institutional investors and each of the
other directors of the Company through Westhouse Securities LLP.



The details of the changes in the director's holdings following the placing are

Mr Richard Abel has indicated that he intends to reduce his holding again in an
orderly manner through the Company's broker in 2007 to increase the free float
further.


Commenting on this announcement, Robert Woods, Chairman of Bristol & London,
said: "This is a positive development for Bristol & London.  The placing will
broaden the Company's shareholder base and as a result we would anticipate that
liquidity in the Company's shares will improve."
