In compliance with the Listings Requirements of the above exchanges and following Brait's trading announcement released 
on 28 March 2006, notice is hereby given that the understated directors disposed of ordinary shares in Brait S.A. on 28 
March 2006 with the Senior Chairman's approval.

The principals of Brait's new private equity fund, Brait IV, have made substantial commitments to invest in Brait IV in 
order to align their interests with the fund investors.

The above directors have in aggregate made commitments to Brait IV in excess of the net proceeds arising from the 
disposal of these shares and the primary purpose for the disposals is to fund these obligations.
