In compliance with paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Ltd, notice is hereby given that the 
following directors were granted options in terms of the Brait S.A. Share Incentive Scheme ("the Scheme") effective 30 
September 2005 at an allocation price of R18.04 per ordinary Brait share (being the volume-weighted average traded price
of  Brait ordinary shares for the seven days prior to 30 September 2005). Approval for the respective allocation and 
clearance to deal was given on 30 September 2005.
