FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

This announcement replaces in its entirety RNS announcement 7082G issued at 
12:30 p.m. on 31 October 2007. The Company has been advised that the source data
provided by the calculation agent, BNP Paribas Arbitrage SNC, on which were
based the Net Asset Valuations of Class A Sterling Hedged US High Income
Preference Shares ("Class A Shares") and Class B Unhedged US High Income
Preference Shares ("Class B Shares") in the US High Income Cell as at 29 October
2007 was incorrect. This announcement includes restated Net Asset Valuations of
the Class A Shares and the Class B Shares as at 29 October 2007. No other Net
Asset Valuations as at 29 October 2007 are being restated.

Allocation Preference Share in the EGA Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 143.10
pence.

- BNP PARIBAS FTSE SUMMIT CELL (the "FSM Cell")

The Company announces that the net asset value of a BNP Paribas FTSE Summit
Preference Share in the FSM Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 143.24 pence.

- BNP PARIBAS ENERGY-BASE METALS SECURE GROWTH CELL (the " EBM Cell")

The Company announces that the net asset value of a BNP Paribas Energy - Base
Metals Secure Growth Preference Share in the EBM Cell as at 29 October 2007 was
319.20 pence.

- BNP PARIBAS ENERGY - BASE METALS (2) CELL (the "EBM2 Cell")

The Company announces that the net asset value of a BNP Paribas Energy - Base
Metals (2) Preference Share in the EBM2 Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 144.41
pence.

- BNP PARIBAS EUROPEAN SHIELD CELL (the "ES Cell")

The Company announces that the net asset value of a BNP Paribas European Shield
Preference Share in the ES Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 109.22 pence.

- BNP PARIBAS UK HIGH INCOME CELL (the "UKHI Cell")

The Company announces that the net asset value of a BNP Paribas UK High Income
Preference Share in the UKHI Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 109.97 pence.

- BNP PARIBAS ABSOLUTE PROGRESSION CELL (the "ABSPRO Cell")

The Company announces that the net asset value of a BNP Paribas Absolute
Progression Preference Share in the ABSPRO Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 113.80
pence.

- US HIGH INCOME CELL (the "USHI Cell")

The Company announces that the net asset value of a Class A Sterling Hedged US
High Income Preference Share in the USHI Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 105.66
pence.

The Company announces that the net asset value of a Class B Unhedged US High
Income Preference Share in the USHI Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 106.12 cents.

- BNP PARIBAS AGRINVEST CELL (the "AGRI Cell")

The Company announces that the net asset value of a BNP Paribas Agrinvest
Preference Share in the AGRI Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 108.52 pence.

- EURO HIGH INCOME CELL (the "EUHI Cell")

The Company announces that the net asset value of a Class A Sterling Hedged Euro
High Income Preference Share in the EUHI Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 97.64
pence.

The Company announces that the net asset value of a Class B Unhedged Euro High
Income Preference Share in the EUHI Cell as at 29 October 2007 was 97.16 cents.
