OK, here's an updated chart if folk want to look at trends. Burst is doing just fine, having made a nice "V"-shaped recovery from its May trough - nice and steady and not too far off its peak of late 2013 (edit). This is desktop only, of course and just for the Burst Media network, but I don't think there's any other data we have that might give more insight into how blinkx as a whole is doing. The other ComScore data we have had (video and multi-platform) has been too volatile to offer any useful insights I think, although it was interesting seeing blinkx appear in both lists.

If you compare the Burst trend with the Criteo and RF trends you can see some similarities, especially with Criteo. Burst fell further and more sharply but then bounced back more impressively as well. RF also fell sharply after spiking in December 2013 and has meandered back more slowly - but has nevertheless recovered something like 10 percentage points from the trough, very similar to Burst.

what happened to all the comments last month that Comscore shows that mobile is growing strongly... surely the same applies now, mobile is not growing strongly...

maybe it was another one trick wonder...like the World Cup/Tizen etc, etc..

alex1621 since the last profit warning has their been any negative news put out by blinkx or any third party i.e. broker downgrades?

The only news that's come out as being one acquisition and a new person to sit on blinkx board.
We've also add one large investor buying quite a large percentage of the blinkx company almost 10%.

There is one more piece on news which I feel is positive is that blinkx did 3 quarterly trading updates as their missed their trading targets, everyone was expecting a trading update at the end of last month saying another profit warning was on the way they didn't release any trading update so therefore must be trading in line with their expectations which were lowered in the last update.

To me there's only been neutral to positive news over the last 4 to 5 months and cannot understand why a small group of non-shareholders constantly post with negative views.

I don't have a problem with someone being bullish about Blinkx and its prospects as long as they (1) offer a reasonable argument and (2) are consistent in their logic. When Comscore figures look positive they are held up as evidence of a Blinkx revival. When they are negative they don't really matter much. A logical inconsistency!Personally, I do not think they tell us anything, whether positive or negative. And Quil, if you want to know who Kendo is, look in the mirror, he's right in front of you!

comscore disaster let me think about that! Blinkx are moving away from desktop and into mobile and the comscore desktop figures go down and that a surprise, also can you show me where I predicted 36p today? Posted 36p but didn't say when unlike the profit warnings that coming every day from you. The sooner advfn allow blue posters to ban blue posters from their threads the better but until that day the rest of us will have to suffer with their childish behaviour.
