There is no problem with shorting BLNX.In fact Tiger have shown it to have been a doddle.In fact they were able to make an extra 150% on top because they never realised the current management at BLNX would be that inept and handed the company over to a Tiger lock, stock and barrel.

The company asked the shareholders for authorisation to buy back up to 10%, and for those shares to be cancelled. There isn't a treasury option.
