UK Holding & UK2 were incorporated on 8th & 20th March 2012, respectively...

However, Blinkx bought several companies prior to those incorporation dates... so were they buying using Blinkx UK Limited....

Why the change to create 2 new subsidaries for handling cash and buying...

PVMG was bought Nov 2011, 6 months before the 2 subsidaries were incorporated.... BM was CEO of PVMG company...
Did he advise on to create UK Holding & UK2???

In 2013, blinx reported a huge increase in revenues... so after the new companies were incorporated...coincidence????

Now blinkx have sold assets to RhythmOne LLC - another subsidary...but US based... it's not easy getting accurate info regarding Private US Companies, had problems when trying to find out about LeadImpact LLC...

RhythmOne founded 2004???

It depends on what you mean by profit, neo26.

blnx likes to discuss losses as adjusted EBITDA profits. Basically a raft of cost is excluded to transform losses. A trustworthy company may do this to unearth underlying trends. blnx on the other hand dispenses with the under in underlying trends to come up with its version of trends and is opaque - IMHO.

There is some interesting debate above between 1gw and sikhthetech that raises questions in relation to the layers of corporate structures.

Historically the company did achieve real profits until dubious practices were cited by the infamous Ben Edelman investment blogger (and never successfully rebutted). The share price then began a heady descent from well over £2 to less than one tenth of that today, a level that isn't even half its launch cost of nine years ago.

Management has been well rewarded for questionable practices and shareholder destruction. They appear to know their and the company's limitations - minimal "true" management shareholder purchases have occurred. Virtually every acquisition made has undergone a material impairment charge. So what odds the company ever making a real profit again? Not impossible, but somewhat lower than 50% in my view.
