Call me a sceptic but the mm's have been happy to take everything thrown to them in the past few weeks - get one weak day in the market and they mark down to trigger more sels..

I think the mm's want stock imo.

Doesn't take much volume to move these up does it? Despite what the mm's would like us to believe.

Being marked up on the first tiny little buys - mm's been mugging punters out of these recently, imo.

They took a ton of sells without a blink and the recent mark down was on no selling.

Well put CR. :-)

"You spend a lot of time here negative when you're not a holder She-ra, and with IGR. Yet when anyone else does that on one of your threads you go into a huge knicker-wetting fit. Rermember that won't you."

"she-ra - 17 Jun'11 - 12:45 - 94 of 94

Fair point CR "

I assume that was the fair point.

I'd like to see the price hold here to form a higher low on the chart. I'm keen to buy a few more at this price but don't have the cash available at this time. A move back up to 40p certainly looks on when the buyers move in.

They annouced they were in discussions She-ra - go figure.

Hendersons buying more means now, it's just interesting as Hendersons are pretty cute imo.

There has been constant sells here for weeks but the price rose and then stayed flat despite the selling.

The selling stops and then the mm's mark down - they are trying to attract sellers imo. Once there's a mark down there's a couple of small sells - punters being mugged out imo.

We'll see.

You spend a lot of time here negative when you're not a holder She-ra, and with IGR. Yet when anyone else does that on one of your threads you go into a huge knicker-wetting fit. Rermember that won't you.

she-ra, Go-Outdoors have already made a bid approach for BSLA according to the press - seems you don't get it imo.

Hendersons up to 19% here now from 15% approx if I'm reading that right.

However I wouldnt bet against another of its competitors taking an interest.

Consolidation may happen in this competitive market.

Interesting to see GO Outdoors raise £30m for expansion.

That's nearly double BSLA's market cap - With BSLA about to go back into profitability soon now would make a great time for GO to make a bid imo. And it also says this:

"In April, chairman John Lovering stepped down after only nine months in the job. The company was rumoured to have made a bid for troubled retail group Blacks Leisure, but nothing was taken up"

Also interesting:

"Private equity firm 3i took a 25 per cent stake in GO Outdoors last month, with former Tesco director Colin Holmes taking over as chairman. So the new Chairman there is a former Tesco man and the new boss at BSLA is a former Tesco woman Julia Reynolds - shouldn't have no trouble liasing then at least.

Seems Holmes and Reynolds are part of the Tesco brain drain and left roughly together:

So 3i take 25% of Go Outdoors. Go Outdoors raises £30m for expansion. former Tesco director Colin Holmes gets put in place at Go Outdoors. Meanwhile former Tesco director takes charge at Blacks. Both happen within three weeks of each other.

Go Outdoors previously rumoured to have approached BSLA with a bid.

Perhaps I'm putting two and two together but I'm happy to be holding with that in the background.
