Voting Rights and Capital 
 
In conformity with the Transparency Directive we would like to notify the 
market of the following: 
 
As at 1 November 2010, The Eastern European Trust PLC's capital consists of 
49,626,886 Ordinary Shares of 10 cents each (excluding 4,664,367 Ordinary 
Shares held in Treasury), carrying one vote each and 9,201,084 Subscription 
Shares of 1 cent each with no voting rights (although these shares are 
considered `qualifying financial instruments' in accordance with the revised 
DTF 5). 
 
As at 1 November 2010, the total number of voting rights for Ordinary 
shareholders in The Eastern European Trust PLC is 49,626,886. 
 
The above figure (49,626,886) may be used by shareholders as the denominator 
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to 
notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the company under 
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
