05/11/2009 18:46 | More likely that the 115 misunderstood how these subscription shares work! | ![]() ianbrewster
05/11/2009 17:00 | Re: RNS on BRNE 5/11 Does anyone have any idea why 115 shareholders have converted about 1 million subscription shares into ordinary shares? They have paid 46p per share for the benefit of buying shares worth no more than 47p at the time of purchase and currently worth 43p when they could have sold the subscription shares in the market for about 6p each. Or am I missing the point or misunderstood how these subscription shares work? | ![]() fishbournetrader
19/10/2009 12:15 | my broker sent a circular saying new opportunity to convert my sub shares into ord. shares at 46p As of Aug 2010 the subscription price rises to 50p | ![]() andrbea
19/10/2009 12:09 | I have managed to buy 100,000 at 7p and 7.5p. The last 25k seems to have moved the buy price to 8p. | ![]() mctmct
07/10/2009 15:07 | and an update today by Kenmitch: As for Black Rock New Energy sub shares, I like them a lot and hold them, having bought just a bit lower than the current 8p to buy. Not only is there that final July 2014 59p exercise price and expiry date, but also of course the earlier ones of 46p until July 31st 2010 and 50p until July 31st 2012. So on that first expiry date the sub share is just in the money with the share at 47.5p to buy. So target 62p by next July for the warrant to double and it would only need a rise to 66p by July 2012 too. Don't know what you think but I reckon the shares could go a good bit higher than 66p in time? Gearing is nearly 8 times. So well worth buying the sub shares ahead of the shares imo. e.g if the shares were to double to about £1, then even if it takes until we have to go for the 59p exercise price it would mean the sub share going up over 5 times and if the share price doubles by 2012 it would give a sub share price over 6 times higher than now. So other than missing any dividends I can't see any case for buying the shares rather than the sub shares. | ![]() andrbea
07/10/2009 15:01 | from the warrants thread Several warrants are incredibly cheap - as long as markets can continue their run. Others well worth a look include BRNS - Black Rock New Energy could do very well. | ![]() andrbea

20/7/2009 11:07 | I hold BRNE. I recently found BRNS in my ISA to 5% of the value of my BRNE holding for free! Is a free bonus issue of some kind, apparently a new class of holding a bit like a warrant (see link below) However I can't seem to buy more of BRNS directly, at least over the internet (may be possible by talking to dealer?) | ![]() dan10
