The one bit of a bulletin board which cannot be changed is that which appears right at the top of the page ... above ...

BIP REFINING PALM OIL IN MALAYSIA (BIP)

Assuming I am to create a new BB with an eye catching 'thread title' which will appear in the search engines on ADVFN ... what would investors like to see there?

Rob would like to see something along the lines of

AIMING TO BE THE WORLD"S LARGEST GRAPHENE PRODUCER!

I suspect that the resolution of the budget issues in the USA may affect the timing of the posting of the admission documents and restoration of trading in BIP. No-one wants to be reading the admission documents whilst the US is falling off the fiscal cliff.

A big thank you leedskier for a great informative thread. I don't post very often but often read this thread having a modest holding here. Couldn't believe our luck with the proposed acquisition of Platinum, very excited about the ongoing prospects.
Anyone have any idea how long this will take?

Hows the new BB coming along Leeds? With increasing media coverage i think we need a very graphene focused BB to address investors needs when this relists. Im not sure we all realize how big this could be! We maybe the ONLY graphene play on the London markets so far. With all this hype and coverage we need to be ready.

All sounds too good to be true.

That email literally came out of the blue, but I think it indicates the excitement in BIP at the prospect of the reverse take-over.

Palm oil rallied to a five-week high on speculation that a seasonal decline in output, combined with rising shipments, will deplete record reserves from this month.
The contract for March delivery rose as much as 2.2 percent to 2,483 ringgit ($810) a metric ton on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, the highest level for the most-active contract since Nov. 20. Futures traded at 2,480 ringgit at 3:33 p.m. local time, paring the year's loss to 22 percent.
Exports from Malaysia, the largest shipper after Indonesia, climbed 3 percent to 1.29 million tons in the first 25 days of December from the same period a month ago, Societe Generale de Surveillance said yesterday. Reserves in Malaysia reached an all-time high of 2.56 million tons last month.
"End stock should have peaked last month, that's why we see palm prices adjusting higher," said Ryan Long, vice president of futures and options at OSK Investment Bank Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur. "Export for the month has been encouraging and production is expected to be lower."
Indonesia cut its export tax on shipments next month to 7.5 percent from 9 percent in December, while lowering the so-called base price for exports to $709 a ton, Bachrul Chairi, acting director general for foreign trade, said in a statement today. Malaysia has set its export-tax rate at zero for January.
Palm oil has advanced 12 percent since hitting a three-year low of 2,217 ringgit on Dec. 13. The edible oil may be the best- performing agricultural commodity in 2013 as demand rebounds, according to Rabobank International.
Soybeans for March delivery climbed 0.7 percent to $14.2825 a bushel on the Chicago Board of Trade. Soybean oil for delivery in March added 1 percent to 49.20 cents a pound.
Palm oil for May delivery rose 2.1 percent to close at 7,016 yuan ($1,125) a ton on the Dalian Commodity Exchange. Soybean oil for May gained 0.7 percent to 8,634 yuan a ton.

We were promised those for BIP, but from the radio interview on Platinum's site, they seem to take promotion more seriously.

Well they are telling us the new Co. is valued at £80.8m = 7p per share,
so that's gain or loss of £11,542,857 per Penny movement.
So!
Leeds @ 5.5 is expecting it to lose £17,314,285 quite a loss

BSG @ 3.0 is expecting it to lose £46,171,428 ouch!

I do like robs though +2p £23,085,714 gain nice!
Quite big valuation moves, will be interesting to see how the market see it.
I will go for 7.5p close

If its all being valued at 7p a share shouldn't it open at 7p when its re-listed ?

I think 4p and will quickly rise to 6p... It's where it is in 2014 that really counts.
Have a good holiday and with luck a prosperous new year.
Spin.
