CHANGE OF ACCOUNTING REFERENCE DATE

On 10 January 2002 Bidcorp Plc ("Bidcorp") announced that it had changed its
accounting reference date from 31 December to 30 June with immediate effect.
Bidcorp today announces that it is to change its accounting reference period
from 30 June 2002 to 30 June 2003. This will be accomplished by extending the
current reporting period to 18 months.

Bidcorp will therefore issue interim accounts for the six month period to 30
June 2002, further interim accounts for the six month period to 31 December 2002
and then a full audited report and accounts for the 18 month period from 1
January 2002 to 30 June 2003.
