Bespak plc announces that Robert Barr, currently Managing Director  of
Bespak Europe, will leave Bespak at the end of October to take up  the
position of Chief Operating Officer of Kingspan Group plc in Ireland.

Alan  Clark, who is currently Devices Director of Bespak Europe,  will
be appointed acting Managing Director.

Chairman, Sir David Cooksey, commented:

"Robert joined Bespak in April 1996 as Commercial Director of  Bespak
Europe and was appointed Managing Director in May 1997.  In both roles
he  has  contributed  greatly to the progress of  the  Group  and  the
development of the Bespak business and organisation."
