                     Bespak plc ("Bespak" or the "Company")

Block Listing of 1,141,427 ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares")
                                      and
         Completion of Acquisition of King Systems Corporation ("King")

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for a listing of 1,141,427 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the
Official List.  These shares rank pari passu with the existing issued Ordinary
Shares of the Company.  Following this admission, Bespak will have 27,984,673
Ordinary Shares in issue with a further 1,588,960 admitted but not yet issued.
It is expected that admission of these shares will take place today.

These Ordinary Shares are to be admitted and will be issued as part of the
consideration payable in respect of the acquisition by Bespak of King.

There are no further outstanding conditions to the acquisition of King.  The
transaction is now complete.
