01/11/2010 08:53 | 25babies - had a quick look at the June a/c's, they had $10.3m cash and $1.4m private equity investments. Assuming that by the time of liquidation the cash has come down to $9.5m. There are 47.5m shares so on cash alone, gives 20c per share or 12p plus whatever the investments are worth. But there are 30.5m employee trust shares which have been treated as treasury and I am not sure how these would be treated . If they come into the equation then the cash per share would be 12c or 7.6p plus whatever the investments are worth. I'm not an expert on this! | philut

31/10/2010 17:08 | interesting how treuger and his yolk-sucking friends at the board "suddenly" understand what all other shareholders have seen for years! i believe this board should now be scrutinized with respect to their "fiduciary duties"! millions of dollars have been drained out of the company to pay for Treuger´s ridiculous "business". | ![]() baner
29/10/2010 18:49 | I'll have a drink on the proceeds ! I've ridden this from 3.20gbp (in the lpg days) all the way upto 22.00 gbp. Unfortunately where Treuger is concerned its hard to put a value on this (I think assets were almost double the current price at start of year). Sure there will be a few exceptional's to add before the final payout is calculated. | ![]() rabiddog
29/10/2010 16:18 | All your fault HugePants. Having read your post, they are going to help us shareholders with some of that asset maximisation. Anybody any idea on the payout per share? | ![]() 25babies
14/10/2010 12:37 | Can you believe this has stock has a full London listing. How much does that cost per annum. BEK is listed with the likes of BP and Vodafone. You could put this mutt in your ISA. Todays volume is higher than normal though. 392 shares bought at 6p for a total cost of £23.52 before charges. | hugepants
14/10/2010 11:32 | I have been trapped by the BEK spread for nearly four years! Is this a record? | ![]() ben value

18/8/2010 13:05 | adam - which other stocks do you hold ? I am mainly looking to add to my net working cap portfolio as I am happy with my longer term portfolio. Thanks, Liars Ps please feel free to answer on the linked thread in order to avoid avoid clogging this thread: | ![]() liarspoker
18/8/2010 12:51 | thanks. I think I will be buried with these certificates. | ![]() adam
18/8/2010 12:43 | I am out. As per my last post, I only held 25,000 shares and I managed to sell them today @ 4p for a small loss. It could be that my timing is bad and that BEK is about to take off as the share price has gone up a little but it was starting to feel like a Value Trap to me. I hope that the share price of BEK does increase for those who still hold and I wish all holders of BEK shares well. Regards, TD | ![]() the diviner
17/8/2010 18:31 | Someone bought 50,000 and put 25% on the share price. I dont think it was the company buying since they can only buy at +/- 10% of the mid price. At last results BEK had: net cash of 13.75p per share private equity of 2p per share I wonder what happened to the Xtera float. | hugepants
05/8/2010 12:30 | I only have 25,000 shares in BEK and I only paid 4.2p for them a year or so ago but I am already sick of waiting for good news to arrive regarding the BEK share price. - As others have others have pointed out the price of BEK shares is not likely to rocket soon. To test the theory that the company want to buy back the shares at up to 4.4p, I tried a Fill or Kill order to sell my 25,000 BEK shares @ 4p but it was rejected. | ![]() the diviner
03/8/2010 12:24 | Q2 results were released on friday. Still rank (as always) but less rank than the Q1 figures. Confirms that the employee benefit trust shares are treasury shares and 47.5M shares effectively in issue. | hugepants
12/7/2010 22:08 | I'm sure there will be some manipulation tricks they can connive to lower the price prior to a purchase ? Drop it by 1p for a week before shouldnt be too hard (thats a 25% discount) | ![]() rabiddog
12/7/2010 09:32 | Is this going to work for a stock with zero liquidity such as BEK. eg current share price is 4p, therefore the company will be able to buyback shares at between 3.6p and 4.4p. But current spread is 3p-5p. Or do they place a buy order at 4.4p and the market makers push the bid price up to try and get sellers at 4.4p? And why only 10% above? PMHL can buy back shares at 20% above the recent average price. PROPOSAL 5 - REPURCHASE OF SHARES ON STOCK EXCHANGE A special resolution is proposed as special business, to empower the Company, subject to the provision of the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991, to make purchases until 30 December 2011 of the Company's own shares on the London Stock Exchange. Purchases will not be made of more than 9,600,000 shares, less than 15% of the total issued Ordinary Shares. Such purchases may only be made at a price not more than 10% above, nor 10% below, the average of the middle market quotations for an Ordinary Share derived from the London Stock Exchange Daily Official List for the five business days before any such purchase is made. The Board of Directors unanimously recommends shareholders to vote FOR this special resolution, which will allow the Company to repurchase publicly less than 15% of the Company's Ordinary Shares, subject to certain restrictions on dates, amounts and prices. | hugepants

19/6/2010 16:20 | Nice rise yesterday. 10 shares traded at 2.995p and the price shoots up 15%. Has the buyback started early. | hugepants
15/6/2010 20:22 | For the Company to 'lend' the Trust money to buy shares when it is in hoc to the company for so much and no chance of paying the money back beggars belief. What would the FSA would make of such behaviour? This doesnt even sound legal. | hugepants
15/6/2010 20:12 | I know what you mean. But hasn't buying back the ADRs effectively increased NAV by about 5% (or 0.75p per share). | hugepants
15/6/2010 19:24 | This situation makes me despair. I'm not saying what Trueger's doing is illegal...but it definitely should be. Even more disappointing is the apparent absence of any conscience on his part. | ![]() stewjames
15/6/2010 18:01 | p.s. S.C Fundamental were promised the ADR shares but clearly that is not what transpired | ![]() adam |
