Bema Gold Corporation ("Bema" or "the Company")

Further re: Acquisition by Kinross Gold

Further to the announcement on 12 February 2007 whereby the Company gave notice
of the expected cancellation of trading of the Company's issued share capital on
AIM pursuant to Rule 41 of the AIM Rules, the Company wishes to update the
market with the news that the expected cancellation date is now 28 February 2007
not 22 February 2007 as stated previously.
