19/3/2004 08:05 | extract from the £1 thread BAU - 205.50p - BEMA GOLD had a good strong rise today which saw the price break through, and hold, above 2 x resistance levels, the second being the 200p psychological level, which should now provide very good support for any retracement. Its indicators are still rising, and although volume is low, it has been increasing for the last 3 x days, all of which suggests the price should rise further during the next few days. It will find weak resistance/support at 207.50p, 212.50p & 217.50p Stronger resistance/support at 205.00p & 215.00p With strongest resistance/support at 210.00p & 220.00p | kitkat

18/3/2004 16:38 | kitkat, Some of us have been here a while but it's been boring for the last month or two. I sold some of these at £2.36 on 27/11/03 so they still have a way to go to get back to those levels. The only reason they are up today is the sudden jump in the price of the yellow stuff. Perhaps it's the start of another run towards $450.00 per oz. Al | diamond1

21/1/2004 17:00 | This would have to be my choice bbmuppet: "Avocet Mining Plc should be trading at by my calculations US$7,827.61/US$833.9 Quarterly production results should be out next month for AVM, which is going on for a liklihood of at 200,000 oz this year to March 2004. 06/1/2004 23:47 | GLMorris, Shareprice offered to do so? BEMA GOLD CORP Company Information Ticker Symbol: BGO Exchange: AMEX Contact Info: Suite 3113, 3 Bentall Center Vancouver, B.C., CN V6C 3A8 (604) 681-8371 CEO/President: Clive Thomas Johnson Industry: Gold / Standard Industry Code: 1041 Description: A Canadian mining company engaged in the mining and production of gold and the acquisition, exploration, and development of precious metal properties in Latin America, the Russian Federation, Ontario and Manitoba, Canada and the western U.S. Share Information Shares Outstanding: 331,399 (000) Market Value: 1,292,456 ($000) Percentage of Inst. All good things come to an end sometime BGO is currently valued at US$1.30 billion approx and yet it only produces 2002:- Julietta 108,844 toz BGO 79% 85,987 2002 Projected 2003 116,000 toz BGO 91,640 Petrex projected 2003 155,000 BGO 100% Refugio est 16,950 toz BGO 50% Bluntly BGO are expected to produce only some 165,115 toz in 2003 it seems, yet are valued at US$1,292,456,000 or some US$7,827.61 per annual ounce of attributable production around 18.42 years of production. On the other hand AVM Avocet Mining Plc are valued at around 77.25p on 103,596,531 shares just £80,028,320 say US$150,453,242 and are estimated to produce at least 180,420 toz in 2003/4 say US$833.91 per toz produced. Bluntly either BGO is horrifically overvalued or Avocet Mining Plc should be trading at by my calculations US$7,827.61/US$833.9 Surely BGO should just bid for Avocet Mining Plc AVM and just increase their ounces produced? Shows you the potential if they did. All IMHO, NAG, DYOR etc, etc The Original BB Muppet | bbmuppet
