                      Mutual Energy appoints new Directors 
 
Mutual Energy Limited, owners of Belfast Gas Transmission Financing plc, Premier 
Transmission Financing plc and Moyle Interconnector financing plc, has made 
several appointments to its Board. 
 
Paddy Larkin, previously Managing Director of Moyle Interconnector, one of the 
companies within the Mutual Energy group, has been appointed to the role of 
Chief Executive, with effect from 1st January 2010.  The appointment has been 
made following a competitive recruitment process.  At the same time, the 
company's finance manager Gerard McIlroy, has been appointed Finance Director. 
 
The final board appointment will take effect from 1st April 2010 when Stephen 
Kirkpatrick will take up a Non-Executive Director role.  A chartered accountant 
by profession, Mr Kirkpatrick, who has spent 15 years with the Bank of Ireland, 
including as Chief Executive of its Northern Ireland operations and Head of 
Retail Credit for the bank, has a wealth of experience that he will bring to the 
role with Mutual Energy.  He has recently been appointed CEO of the SVM Group 
which comprises Corbo Properties, the largest property company in Northern 
Ireland, and SVM Textiles. 
 
Gerard McIlroy has also been appointed to the Boards of Belfast Gas Transmission 
Financing plc, Premier Transmission Financing plc and Moyle Interconnector 
financing plc.
