I would not worry too much about the good news in the price as these have fallen from 12 Euros so they have a lot of work to do.
I know of investors that held these at 12 Euros and still hold in anticipation.
Although not likely to see that level again we could see 60c in the next 12 months according to the charts.

Bank of Ireland has raised €750m in a bond issue, the bank said today as it continues its return to normal market lending..

It added that it had received a high level of investor demand for the five year senior issue at a yield of 3.337pc.

The issue was more than five times oversubscribed which was sold to a range of 240 investors.

Lead investment banks on the transaction were Citibank
