Amendment to the Terms and Conditions under the Euro7,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term
Note Programme in relation to the notes issued on 5 October 2005 (ISIN:
XS0231917765), 14 December 2005 (ISIN: XS0238246390) and 31 January 2006 (ISIN:
XS0242673936) (the "Notes").

Notice is hereby given that the references to "eighth" in the definition of
"Index Figure Applicable" in the Terms and Conditions of the Notes has been
amended to "seventh" in order to correct a technical error. Accordingly
references to "eighth" in the definition of "Index Figure Applicable" in the
Term & Conditions of the Notes should be read and construed as if they referred
to "seventh".

These amendments correct a technical error.
