17/3/2007 11:53 | there was 1m sold today and the price never flinched hardly - must be a large buyer around with the way this is so illiquid, it would have been way off on those sells if the mm's would have actually taken them. I spoke to Richard Worthington yesterday. He was a bit evasive about answering questions about Diggle Investments but it is registered off shore somewhere. He is still a director but said he isn't actively involved with it anymore, he says. The connection is there tho, surely he's a director at BKE, he's a director at Diggle and Diggle are buying - no Chinese wall there is there, would he let Diggle buy and not say a word if he thought it was a bad move? CR | cockneyrebel
17/3/2007 01:15 | some one REALY WANTS THE SHARES..but dificulty with only £300!!! take overs the only thing i can think off | petersmith6
16/3/2007 21:31 | I bought it yesterday but wasn't easy to buy just £300 worth through Halifax. Ended up paying over the odds at 0.4p and my order got delayed. What does that mean? | trbcjb
16/3/2007 12:19 | I've taken an interest here. There hasn't been any holding notices in this co for about six years then, just like busses a few come along at once. A lot of interest all of a sudden and various parties accumulating. I had to pay over the odds for 300K yesterday. Today there has been 1m sold and the price has hardly flinched so there must be a huge buy being filled imo. CR | cockneyrebel
16/3/2007 09:31 | perhaps..?.. however like JLH, both difficult to buy in any quantity.. saffy.. | safman
16/3/2007 08:35 | The interesting point is last weeks announcement that Barclays are now holding 6.3% which didn't go through the market. Since then the shares have almost doubled. Is Richard Worthington working his magic again? | lord c.

15/3/2007 20:27 | No, he's right, it is Worthington's investment vehicle, done some more digging. CR | cockneyrebel
15/3/2007 19:58 | Perish the thought, but it's always possible Jim got it wrong... | wiganer
15/3/2007 19:34 | And what about Diggles Ltd Wiganer? I ran a search at Co House but according to their list it doesn't exist?! I think Jim Benley was saying it's Worthington's investment vehicle above. Is that fact? I didn't see an RNS saying his holding had increased when the Diggles one had. CR | cockneyrebel
15/3/2007 19:13 | Yep, I've done it, two old boys down in Devon with an Hotel Co. I wondered if anyone knew anything else. Worthington is involved in BKE and JLH. Warm Welcome are too. But Worthington isn't involved with Warm Welcome, he isn't a director anyway. CR | cockneyrebel

15/3/2007 13:02 | Is this the next CFE ? looks interesting imo. Franchising Don Miller? Looks like they had operation profit pre-exceptionals of £142K in H1? If they could annualise that and lose the exceptionals I'd have thought the PE would be 2. Wouldn't take many franchises per year to double or treble those profits - look how fast CFE are rolling out franchises now. Noticed it has been rising with the yearend approaching at March 31.
