Finalizes $800 Million in Term Loan Exit Financing LANCASTER, Pa., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (NYSE:AWI), a global leader in the design and manufacture of flooring, ceilings and cabinets, announced today that shares of its common stock are expected to begin "regular way" trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) tomorrow, October 18. Yesterday, October 16, Armstrong closed on: (i) a $300 million term loan with a five-year maturity; and (ii) a $500 million term loan with a seven-year maturity. The proceeds of the Term Loans are being used to fund distributions under its Court-approved "Fourth Amended Plan of Reorganization, as Modified," dated February 21, 2006 (the "Plan") and for fees and expenses. Armstrong also announced today that it expects to report third quarter earnings on October 30, 2006. At that time, Armstrong will provide a 2006 earnings outlook. In addition, Armstrong expects to hold meetings with investors on November 16 in New York and on November 17 in Boston.
