Sounds like a little bit of good news today... but the future beyond December may not be so great for us PIs if any deal struck to restructure Debt is not in our favour or worse yet, a deal can't be struck. Things to ponder yet again with this sluggish one

All sounds very promising.
Have to admit, the majority of my holding was bought at/round this level, so everything to gain if the majority Shareholder/new Management can revitalise Operations and then bring the Golden Goose home to roost

Some thoughts on the recent sale of 250,000 at 2.5p. Well that must in effect be another buy signal. I wouldn't have thought whoever this was could have made any money at all on this trade. Has the offer price been any lower that 2.5p at all, ever?

So, they have either thrown in the towel or just got plain bored. Such activity is typical at the bottom.

POG...could also play a major factor, IMO new management need to concentrate on reducing costs below $800oz....what hike in $ will do for commodity prices.

I agree about new management....they still have to prove themselves, its a wait and see..

...and imo, the new, Turkish owners of the mine will very likely want to keep their new London listing. Having already put a lot of finance into it, they will want it to be successful. These things take time.

Also in my analysis of the posts made on the day of important lows and the high, you were present on each of those days. In each case your posts came across as being bearish on the lows and while you did not post a comment related to AUE on the day of the high (7th March) you did post a bullish one on gold (gold around $1270). The peak for gold after the big multi-month run up came just 4 days later before declining to $1206 in the following two weeks.

So, you seem to be quite a reliable contrary indicator. I hope you continue to be just as reliable. Sorry for pointing this out, and you were not the only one!

But it's different management now!

The current mktcap puts a value of c. US$18/oz for the 2.14 Moz measured & indicated resource - that is obviously really cheap in a sector which is running out of mine-able deposits.

And this is not some explorer that has still to be funded into construction. It has all the mining and processing infrastructure already in place.

Yes, it's speculative, but do you really think that a couple of million oz are going to be left in the ground with PoG already above US$1,300/oz ?

Well yes I don't disbelieve you, but things can change, or rather peoples perceptions can change. Also, don't forget that I admit I could be wrong. However, given my analysis, which as you can see is just a few posts back, then the odds suggest at least a tradeable rally is probably getting underway. Also, all the 14 trades so far this morning have been buys, so they presumably think its going up. They may be wrong of course but seemingly not so far.

bikwik...are you on the right thread, this is AUE, the management have proved time and again they are incompetent at building & commissioning a mine of any description...I think like most investors here you will be disappointed. However, I do hope that is not the case.
