Notifiable Interest

The Directors of Avarae Global Coins plc (AIM: AVR.L), the UK's only publicly traded company dedicated to investing in rare and high quality coins, were yesterday notified by Mr Paul Dewinter that, the previously declared holding of ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on 30 December 2013 by Mr P Dewinter and connected parties, correctly included a holding of Ordinary Shares held by Mr P Dewinter's son. Mr P Dewinter's son is now 18 years of age and, under the AIM Rules for Companies, his holding of Ordinary Shares is no longer required to be aggregated with that of Mr P Dewinter.

Accordingly, Mr P Dewinter is interested in 1,773,160 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 2.2% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
