I've decided to sell out now and take the cash; it might go up but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush (and other such cliche's!)

I hope it makes £18 for my big short but I doubt it. One thing for sure is it will fall soon so be ready with your short trades boys.

I see Football has made £69 on his long position I hope he declared it to the benefits agency.

With all the problems in ragheadland I see a large correction downwards to stocks so I am going short on many soon.

Interesting - what's the basis of £18?

yes, well i sold a few today, no worries, as i have a v.large holding since 10 years ago - always good to tuck some profit away. i'll prob sell next at £18 if it reaches, and then every £1 up.

The question becomes one of timing; has it pushed to the point of cashing in, or is there life left in this surge?

One this about AU. is the fact that they're volatile and good cash can be made on the back of that.

Any thoughts?

This might be a stupid question, Club, but why not go long when you think a share is going up?

Not lost money shorting Autonomy. The faster and higher it rises the better for the correction and my short.

UP 47 go my son up up and away 1800 on the cards soon, then watch me make money shorting it.
