01/4/2004 19:26 | cvern, what happened was that the price has already nearly trebled in the last year. 70p is a fair price. Be patient and hold for a year or two is what i say. When the progress comes, and it will, she will fly. | sugarbee
01/4/2004 13:14 | what date did we have to buy the shares in order to receive the dividend? | ck22
31/3/2004 13:51 | Sugarbee: The Results were very positive and what happened? Sweet f all!! | cvern
31/3/2004 10:40 | Small sellers emerging today - I guess frustrated by lack of interest. Price drops 3.5p with very small sells. Think this is the start of a bit of activity, hopefully resulting in an increase in price when the sellers are drawn out and the bargain hunters come in. I continue to be disappointed by the lack of information on any new contract wins This share is a major disappointment to me considering all the hype - new gresham computer etc etc | morose
30/3/2004 18:54 | Hold on, be patient, AGM end of April, should be very positive. | sugarbee
30/3/2004 09:11 | Is it too early after the analysts meeting to expect some sort of reaction? Can't believe how little interest there is in this stock, or how much longer my patience can last | morose
30/3/2004 08:49 | We sure need something.... | cvern
29/3/2004 12:24 | ck22 - do you know something?? or are you just makeing a prediction?? I hope the former | vikingben
29/3/2004 11:29 | good morning all, glad to see the old and new are here. so then who cares to make a prediction for the next 2 weeks for this stock mine is 78-80p, expect news of product development in the next 4 weeks, some good news i think you will find yet again. | ck22
28/3/2004 21:22 | Article in the local press, telegraph & argus(Bradford based)praised ATL and especially the management.E.Blaine also states the next few years will really see ATL consolidate their position especially if it takes off in the USA.Watch this space I say. | blopblup
26/3/2004 14:19 | Thebarrelboy...welco | blopblup
26/3/2004 10:31 | cvern; Agreed, but they would wait until Corporate Vision was showing signs of being a success first. They would have to pay a fair old premium over today's price in my view. TBB | thebarrelboy
26/3/2004 10:17 | If the big boys in the US like the look of it ATL could get taken out. The fastest way of breaking into the USA is to team up with an existing USA operator. The US are reluctant to admit new foriegn companies. You have to buy their trust. | cvern
25/3/2004 20:58 | It's nice to return here with some positive newspaper coverage; Taken from The Yorkshire Post and written by Eric Barkas City Editor - and who seems very well informed about Atlantic! "If you've got what you think is a "must have" technology product, then the place to go is the US, the worlds biggest market. Atlantic Global is still trying to conquer the UK, so the States might be a big ask, but there are ways of entering the market there. Management consultancy is one way in.Sell Atlantic's stuff to consultants who operate on both sides of the Pond and you could get a foot in the door. Cleckheaton based Atlantic is talking to consultants as a prelude to selling the product. It works like this; the product helps consultants sell their services; they then recommend it.Before you can say Eugene Blaine, you're up and running. Mr Blaine wouldn't put it that way.The Managing Director of Atlantic is into service with a purpose.Step back a bit.Atlantic is nothing if not ambitious. It's spearhead product is Adeo, a software offering that does all the management tricks you want other than accounting - a highly specialised area. Managing time, expense and planning were the basics. Now Adeo can take in risk, information and contractor management. But it's not good enough. You need Corporate Vision. This little baby takes the anorak detail out of the system and lays it on a plate for middle and senior managers who need a more strategic view. The way Atlantic sells it, project managers need the detail and their bosses don't.They want to knoe how the business is affected by whats going on.So it's down to people, budgets and delivery and benefits to the company. Are you under budget? Do you have enough people? Are you delivering? Good for you Atlantic Global.Who have you signed up? For Adeo it's pretty much a blue chip register,Glaxo Smithcline in pharmaceuticals,Eric Because Corporate Vision works alongside Adeo,it's not a question on cannibalising existing sales.Atlantic developed CV with Pfizer and Norwich Union. They get to help design systems that will help them,Atlantic gets a contribution to development costs. The proof will be in take-up.Norwich Union bought the system. In 2003 Logica coughed up and two pilot projets were initiated with the Metropolitan Police and Eclipse Petroleum. The current year will be Key, CV isn't cheap, it starts around £200,000 and can exceed £1 million. Mr Blaine estimates that in a company with around 1000 people a productivity gain of just 1 per cent is worth £500,000. A 5 per cent gain is achievable,he say's. Atlantic's 2003 figs showed turnover up 26 per cent to £2m and taxable profits doubled to £500,000. The Dividend is raised 40percent to 0.7p per share. Atlantic has appointed David Cox as non-exec Chairman, he said the growth potential remains substantial, especially with the development of Corporate Vision.... We are extremely well positioned to achieve significant levels of growth." I believe they are, having held these before and enjoyed substantial gains, I am now back onboard for a further ride. The current price represents a significant opportunity for such a well placed growth company. A market cap of £16.8 million is peanuts if they start to sign up some global players with CV software suites. IT and Cap Ex spending is only just starting to take off again after the post Y2K slump so there really is a big market out there. A look at the customers signed up for Adeo show's the potential here, they would only need to get half a dozen of those signed up to double turnover for the whole of last year. Let's see how they manage this. TBB | thebarrelboy
25/3/2004 19:12 | It was a meeting with the analysts,I presume, the best person to ask is E.Blaine, the MD or possibly R.Hutton, the finance director. | blopblup
25/3/2004 16:38 | I would like to know how yesterdays 9.30AM meeting went!! Any feedback from anybody, | vikingben
25/3/2004 16:27 | I've been thru the annual report today and I find nothing but good news,to say i'm disappointed with the share movement is the biggest under statement of the year.I just don't understand it.Anybody what's a "T" trade. | blopblup
24/3/2004 16:52 | It all comes down to lack of interest, maybe they don't promote themselves sufficiently, product doesn't excite the punters, who knows? See if the analysts meeting produces anything, or tip sheets get hold of it. Agree very disappointing especially to see it relinquish its modest gain from this morning | morose
24/3/2004 13:35 | As someone said, when they get some more high profile customers and contracts, the publicity will come and the buyers will come in, share price will head north. Glad I topped up yesterday - the results pleasing, just have to be patient now. | morose |
