Apache Declares Cash Dividends on Common Shares, Sets Date for Annual Meeting

HOUSTON, Dec. 11  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Apache Corporation (NYSE:APANASDAQ:APA) has declared regular cash dividends of 15 cents per common share payable on Feb. 22, 2010, to stockholders of record on Jan. 22, 2010.

Apache's annual meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Central Time on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel, 2001 Post Oak Blvd., Houston, Texas.  Shareholders of record at the close of business on Monday, March 8, 2010, are entitled to receive notice of the meeting and to vote the shares of Apache common stock they held as of that date.
