29/10/2019 16:37 | Oh dear, the half-wits have been let loose again and are bouncing off the walls/each other. Do they really get paid for doing this, even if they exhibit bewildering levels of simplicity? | tameimpaler

25/10/2019 11:26 | Patience (and a bit of good fortune as with any stock) is all that is needed for a sizeable return imho. The recent RNS may seem less relevant at this juncture when everyone is searching for a quick buck but is an essential part of the overall picture and is prudent forward planning. I think all SH's are relieved to learn that there will be no further dilution and that aaog can get on unhindered with future development of Tilapia including the 7km (NOT 14km) pipeline that would be required should sidetrack work out as anticipated - it indicates to market that aaog is much more likely to be able to stand up on its own 2 feet. (Appreciate that no oil price in the term sheet/non-binding) but potential $25m drawdown facility is not small beer, and won't be a figure plucked out of thin air and without basis - of course if aaog default, the licence may be had as security - that's how secured loans work. As for the fabled £50m offer, we'll never know if it ever existed. Who knows, with much increased interest in the surrounding acreage (New Age/Chinese deal), that figure could eventually be much higher. The Term Sheet sends out the message that aaog is unlikely to be able to be bought out on the cheap. Personally, I think a JV or some kind of licencing arrangement is the more likely in the shorter term. All coming together slowly but surely as far as I'm concerned - it was never going to be quick. Time (and my significant position) will tell if I'm right. I'm not panicking and neither is James Berwick. | tameimpaler

23/10/2019 07:00 | ...and no I am not a shorter, I sold out at 14p at the start of the year (got slated by the resident AAOG super fan) and have watched it dribble down ever since. My view then was the the same as today - until Djeno flow rates are tested, released and proved to be viable and commercial I see absolutely no reason to invest.I don't believe any of the board have bought substantive amounts of shares at these historical lows yet either. The oil is there but it needs to be proven they can get it out of the ground. | supercity
