                              ACQUISITIONS UPDATE
                                       
ALPHA Airports Group Plc is delighted to announce its first joint investment
in mainland European Flight Catering with our partner and major shareholder,
Servair.   ALPHA and Servair have each paid #2.9m for their 25% equity
holdings in Airchef 2000 Srl, an Italian flight catering company.  The
remaining 50% equity interest is held jointly by the current owner, Chef
Italia SpA, a major Italian catering company, and the senior management of
Airchef 2000.

Airchef 2000 is principally a regional airport flight caterer with sales of
#17.5m, net assets of #0.6m and a pre-tax profit of #0.67m for the year ended
31December 1999.  The company has flight kitchens at 11 Italian cities - Milan
Linate, Bergamo, Genova, Parma, Florence, Pisa, Naples, Palermo, Bari,
Brindisi and Cagliari.  In addition, Airchef 2000 opened it first major long-
haul flight kitchen at Milan Malpensa last year.  In May 2001, a new kitchen
in Venice will be opening.  ALPHA, Servair and Airchef 2000 have identified
substantial scope for sharing best practice, introducing new clients to each
other, and building a complete flight kitchen network throughout Italy,
thereby significantly growing the business.

In Australia, ALPHA has extended its regional airport kitchen network from 6
to 9 flight kitchens.  In two separate acquisitions, for a total consideration
of #2.8m, ALPHA has acquired flight kitchens in Brisbane, Rockhampton and
Mackay in Queensland, near our headquarters at Coolangatta.
