Alexandra PLC ("Alexandra" or "the Company") 
Update to shareholders 
 
The Board of Alexandra announced on 9 July 2010 that trading in the ordinary 
shares of the Company had been suspended. 
 
The Company has appointed Robert N Lewis, Robert J Hunt and Derek A Howell of 
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as administrators ("Administrators").  The 
Administrators have received offers for the Company's business and assets and 
are in advanced discussions with a number of bidders with a view to completing a 
transaction imminently. 
 
The offers received are at a level at which there is no prospect of any value 
being attributed to the ordinary shares in Alexandra plc.  No offer has been 
received for the Company's ordinary shares and the Company is not in discussions 
with any party regarding an offer for the Company's ordinary shares.  As a 
result there is no longer a value attributed to the ordinary shares of the 
Company and it is no longer in an offer period. 
 
Application will be made today by the Administrators, on behalf of the Company, 
to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange to cancel the listing 
of Alexandra's shares on the London Stock Exchange. It is anticipated that the 
cancellation of the listing will take effect on the market opening at 8am 
tomorrow morning.
