27/10/2016 11:44 | The second link is just a repeat of last evenings RNS. "Randgold remains committed to the long term expansion in Mali of our own presence as well as the country's mining industry in general." Surely this is good news for ALO | ged5
27/10/2016 11:06 | Good, lets hope they resolve it in both parties' interests. Not so good for the would-be flippers from the last placing here:) | paleje
12/10/2016 16:41 | Apparently Randgold has some hassle with the mali tax authorities who have closed their office pending settlement. Randgold say operations not affected so far. | paleje
11/10/2016 12:20 | Can't quite see why someone providing the financing would want to leave anything on the table for PIs. | kimboy2
11/10/2016 12:07 | 87M shares traded today and the share price drops This deffo one for the bottom drawer now. But I await finance news and will be rewarded as long as the terms are favourable which i am sure they will be!!! | billthebank
11/10/2016 08:35 | RSI 20 on the drop. Oversold buyers returning | oilbuy
06/10/2016 09:23 | I don't think there was any forward selling on this and there's no quick turn at current share price so maybe there is light ahead. I emailed MJ on the weekend, he DIDN'T tell me anything that hasn't already been aired but he reaffirmed the intention to fund via debt whether Chinese or other, he also confirmed that the NPV includes capital cost, an issue which was mischievously (imo) mentioned in a MasterInvestor article. | paleje
03/10/2016 11:16 | Yes the process by which those who bought the placing get them offloaded to overexuberant PIs involves a load of ramping. | kimboy2
30/9/2016 19:38 | You wait 3 months for it to rise to yesterday's level and the gain is wiped out in one day! Brings a whole new meaning to the word patience. Exasperation is the phrase that springs to mind :(( | jpuff
30/9/2016 10:06 | cliley454 - I agree and have added a couple of mil more. Showing as sells and not BUYS? | michaelfenton
30/9/2016 09:49 | drop is overdone, they have cash now so share price will recover. off topic take a look at ENGI. I posted some info on the bb. | cliley454
30/9/2016 09:34 | Have to say I understand the placing but pretty dam low price to be honest. The price is determined by what price, including profit, the traders can pass the shares on to PIs for. It is a measure of the punters exuberance, but clearly you can only go to the well so many times. | kimboy2
30/9/2016 09:29 | Large buyers on the dip. 137M traded | oilbuy
30/9/2016 09:28 | Have to say I understand the placing but pretty dam low price to be honest. The story is still strong but please no more mine purchased.Let's get out working capital sorted on what we have in place now. Still confident on the outcome here just need to wait. Pretty comprehensive update. | billthebank
30/9/2016 08:54 | Very likely to need another placing early in the new year. | sleveen
30/9/2016 08:43 | The agreement with the Chinese always looked pie in the sky. Why should they take 100% of the risk just for interest repayments. It has unfortunately delayed the whole thing by 6 months with the additional expense and dilution. Does anyone else notice you never get any holding notices after a placing? Basically 'people' are taking up the placings at discounted prices and then selling them into an over exuberant PI market at a profit over the next few weeks without the need to inform the market. I dare say you could send a couple of kids through boarding school on the back of a couple of ALO placings a year. IMV they should try and raise the £10m or so needed for Matala with a discounted placing which is open to all shareholders. They can perhaps try and raise the rest through bank debt. At least then they will have something producing cash which they can reinvest in other projects and move forward. I can't really imagine why anyone would buy at the moment. It is just Micawberism hoping that something will turn up. Punters are looking at the dream rather than the reality. It is a painful process. | kimboy2
30/9/2016 08:08 | In addition to the placing , the delay in project funding may have a further detrimental effect on the share price | sleveen
30/9/2016 08:01 | Will the dip be bought ? | oilbuy
30/9/2016 07:57 | Frustrating, not the fundraise so much but the mine financing still vague and ditto production commencement. | paleje
28/9/2016 13:37 | Que sera sera!!! | billthebank
28/9/2016 13:27 | MJ in Johannesburg this week . Would expect news out latest by next week . | fund55
28/9/2016 08:15 | Full ask for 86k | oilbuy |
