Mats Tedenryd has been appointed Vice President Information Technology at
Perstorp Group. He joins Perstorp from a consulting position as Head of IT
operations at Pharmacia Consumer Healthcare. Mats Tedenryd will be a member of
Perstorp's executive management group.

Mats Tedenryd, aged 38 is a graduate in Business Administration. His previous
positions include being IT Head of Svedala Industri and managing his consulting
company. His first day of employment at Perstorp will be April 9.

"Information Technology is a prioritized field and Perstorp introduced a new IT
organization on March 1 to capitalize on the Group's overall expertise and
economies of scale in the area. Mats offers a combination of skills in IT and
business administration, which is fully in line with our new IT strategy," says
Ake Fredriksson, Perstorp's President and Chief Executive Officer.

The Perstorp Group has developed operations with global positions in specialized
segments of the chemicals and flooring markets. The Group has annual sales of
approximately SEK 8 billion, with about 3,600 employees.
