26/4/2004 14:19 | Nice 80,000 buy, some more of those and we could see much bigger gains. Just imagine this has risen 50% on just 300,000 shares traded, thats less than £12000 | willybaby
26/4/2004 14:18 | 80k buy just gone through.. | double6
26/4/2004 14:09 | Reckon if takeover goes through price should be at leat 10p. We will have to wait and see but I hold and will continue to do so. | wally123
26/4/2004 13:59 | Bought some hoping for more rises on takeover news - bought ETQ today, along with YRK and AEN. | double6
26/4/2004 13:57 | Any Comments? Whats everyones take on this? | willybaby
26/4/2004 13:49 | Double6 - whats your take on this one, seen you around on the IEC thread (or GED or EEN can't remember). Just bought in without doing much research, thought the market cap etc made this a very good opportunity, and now a possible takeover. | willybaby
23/4/2004 11:13 | up abit.......... | elsworth
18/3/2004 21:32 | hey folks - nice 5% RISE - WHAT WAS THAT IN AID OF, THIS SHARE LOOKS VERY INTERESTING CAN I HAVE SOME INSIGHTS? | moneyrepler
04/3/2004 19:07 | fully endorse what you are saying sharw........... when I sold mine I bought more MCF @4p and EPO at 2.25 so have more than recovered my loss on selling ....... like you I will wait on the sidelines. I also invest in Collins & Hayes - they plummetted in Jan - but seem to be slowlly recovering! | g.j.a
04/3/2004 12:06 | g.j.a. - likewise. I found it very difficult to sell at 4.25 because it crystallised a nasty loss, but looking at the price now I am very thankful I did. A sale of 7,500 at 2.5 (and that's only £187.50) this morning has pushed the bid down to 2.25. The MMs must be desperate. Wole - I agree, and its a guessing game as to when the results will be announced. It was 23/7/02 but last year they left it until 30/9 with just hours to go before suspension. I am happy to observe from the sidelines until then. | sharw
04/3/2004 10:57 | It's extremely risky until you read their next results. Last we knew there were in breach of their banking covenants, and the banks could pull the rugs any minute... Better to wait till an announcement confirms their position... | wole
02/3/2004 21:01 | Just sooooooooo pleased i got out at 4.25 | g.j.a
09/1/2004 13:13 | Holding over 100000 shares from 3p to 6p price moved twice in last 2 days(upwards) yet not many shares sold any clues for a NOVICE please WCR | boxes
09/1/2004 12:52 | is that 3 days rise on trot? | colinc57
08/1/2004 19:08 | Nice to see ATU ticking up to a more realistic mkt cap. There was an indication that things may be improving in their interim report: 'Meanwhile, the Aquarius range has witnessed a recent upturn in demand. The moving water segment of the market is growing significantly and this is served by a number of our products, including an increasing range of whirlpools.' Andy | andypace
06/1/2004 19:20 | any ideas what pushed it up today??? | g.j.a
15/12/2003 15:46 | Interim results out today. There was a wafer thin profit before the preference dividends were accounted for but after that earnings are negative. The basic message is that things are going to get worse before they get better: "..Operating profit is likely to be lower than the first half which is likely to result in a full year loss before taxation". I am not going to get back in at least until we have the full year results when, once again, it will not be the results themselves but the outlook which will be key. Apart from earnings turning negative in H1 and heading to be worse for full year, the reasons I remain on the sidelines also include: Negative assets Arrears of preference dividends continue to pile up and until they have been paid off in full, holders of ordinary shares will get zero. | sharw
11/12/2003 10:09 | Anyone go to the AGM? | andypace
01/12/2003 11:54 | I've been watching this share for some time and decided to pitch in today. The finals were not as bad as I feared, and after striping out the interim results, the performance in the second half was still cash flow positive after servicing the debt. They can still survive even if things continue to get worse, in my opinion. Anyone have any views? | andypace
28/11/2003 18:32 | et moi, Sharw, phew!!!........ | g.j.a
28/11/2003 17:39 | Looks like it. Someone sold 50,000 but could only get 2.5 compared to 2.75 bid. That compares with when others of us were getting out but managed to get inside the spread. 50k sounds a lot but that is only £1,250. What is more interesting is that my intraday chart shows the price dropping 3 times - once when the trade was done at 13.16, once when it was announced at 15.16 and once in between. Either there are more delayed trades yet to surface or the MMs have started to panic. I remain thankful that I am watching from the sidelines. | sharw
28/11/2003 15:08 | more rats exiting? | nissi beach
31/10/2003 07:59 | Totally agree sharw - tho watching closely! | g.j.a
29/10/2003 17:39 | Looks like 3 more rats jumped ship today at 3.03 and 3.06 causing the bid to go down to 2.75. Then a fourth got out at 2.81. Even at that level still not a buy IMHO. Let's see what they have to say at the interims first. | sharw |
