11/3/2009 18:49 | up 30% in oz to 13 last night . Maybe they will survive and have cash of 25million. But spent 33 million in year to 31.12.08 ! I must check to see how much directors pay themselves as this might be key to survival. These crooks who run OZ spec companiesd know how to reward themselves handsomely even when they do very little work ! | arja
07/1/2009 14:03 | I see this is doing well under its new epic....BRL | roks
16/12/2008 20:28 | JUST A REMINDER FOR INFO...COULD BE GOOD FOR GOLD :- Africa-focused miner AIM Resources said sporadic intervals of gold have been found at holes S36-018 and S36-011, drilled as part of the Mumbwa Phase 3 drilling program in Zambia. The company added that copper mineralised zones have also been identified. As a result of an accident in Novemebr at the Mumbwa joint venture project all site activities have been suspended pending a safety inspection. Logging and sampling activities are expected to recommence in mid-December. | sagem
15/12/2008 22:14 | Down we go again, just as predicted and for no apparent reason MM's - VERY BORINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG | control1

10/12/2008 19:03 | Dexy, if you trawl back through the other post, you find details of a UK stockbroker that will deal with buying/selling for you - can't remember which one off the top of my head but I remember that it's there so you don't have to do this | control1
10/12/2008 17:03 | very parochial attitude in OZ and only a few brokers will accept a client without an oz address . I think Paterson Ord minnett do but maybe best to email a few brokers . | arja
10/12/2008 15:52 | does anybody have any helpful advice or recommendations regarding the x-fer of shares to an Australian broker. This is my only stock on ASX and I am obviously interested in getting them held very cheaply, preferrably free lol. Any advice from people whom have already transferred would be much appreciated. | dexy2
10/12/2008 14:11 | Less shares = more EPS (somewhere off on the dim, distant horizon). One of the biggest bugbears on these boards is people moaning like billy-o when Companies dilute constantly so, when the value of any existing holders portfolio remains unaltered following consolidation, you would think that this would be cause for joy. I am looking at a producer of 100,000 ozs of gold per annum which is priced at less than 1p at the moment which is just plain silly but I am put off by the fact that there are 1.9 billion (yes, you read that correctly) shares in circulation at the moment - if anything was crying out for consolidation, its this | control1
10/12/2008 13:59 | but has now become virtually illiquid in OZ following consolidation . Consolidation is only a "con" by companies to make it seem more attractive . | arja
09/12/2008 13:49 | See Your Point Crontrol1 agreed,sorry i hate seeing red on my share list!!! | alby220
09/12/2008 13:21 | alby220 - don't get it, your shares are worth exactly the same today as they were before the consolidation at 4p bid instead of 0.4p so in fact, there is no change. As for the longer term prospect hoggar, the company has enough money to keep them going for years at this level so when things pick up again, there will be opportunities with a whole mountain of zinc available so, whilst you are not going to make a quick buck, you will eventually make money Leave if you are only interested in an immediate return or hold if you have a bit of foresight | control1
09/12/2008 12:10 | The fact is Sagem, the stock has no fundametal value going forward with Perkoa draining resources for many years to come. Also the prospect for gold in Burkina Faso is just 'pie in the sky'. Mumbwa still fails to impress with poor gold oz/t grades and moderate cu cut off deposits at depth. There is not much left for investors to be excited about. The independent drilling report will give potential investors a clearer insight to the overall prospects for Mumbwa. The best the report can suggest is yet another campaign of drilling to better outline the prospect and define higher grade material. With the poor demand for commodities, the chances of another costly drilling campaign will not happen. Mumbwa may well fall into the same situation as Perkoa, and be eventually mothballed. | hoggar
09/12/2008 10:43 | Taking into account the consolidation of yesterday, The S.P has now slammed into the floor making them virtually not worth selling now! | alby220
09/12/2008 10:23 | Down 20% I cannot understand why | sagem
09/12/2008 08:11 | NEW RNS ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 9TH DECEMBER AS FOLLOWS ;- IS THIS A GOOD REPORT....ANY VIEWS WOULD BE APPRECIATED | sagem
09/12/2008 08:04 | sorry control1 - never had a share go through consolidation - well excited seeing the 1000% rise on my dealing screen and i believe your right - they now have a good chance of heading in the right direction | topdoggyuk
08/12/2008 21:41 | TD, congrats on the new thread - but re the title of the article, not really. On Friday, my 325,000 AIMR shares were worth £1,300 at 0.4p bid Today, my 32,500 is worth £1,625 so a decent rise of 25% but I believe that this share will be worth a LOT more than this in a year or 2 - just wish we didn't have to wait that long...... | control1
08/12/2008 13:20 | thanks J4ks. I suppose it is 1 share for every 10 . no trades in oz and closing quote of 9 buyer and 24 seller ! | arja
08/12/2008 08:36 | YEY!! up 1034% today!!!! | topdoggyuk
07/12/2008 09:50 | control - not naive, but maybe the last few months are starting to take its toll. The new company AIMDA only has 9 million shares as opposed to 1000 million or however many aimr has, you cannot hope for any price increase at those quantitys, so i would suggest that the new company will almost certainly be fully subscribed, there will be sharp increases in the price of the new company and at these prices i would suggest that a profit is in the bag and will certainly be topping up again. The price i believe was on the sheet i posted and will be $1 per share - please as always do you own research or double check that sheet of information from the asx i posted some time ago | topdoggyuk |
