Appointment of Chair Designate 
 
Anglian Water Services Limited ("AWS" or the "Company"), the principal operating 
subsidiary of Anglian Water Group Limited ("AWG", together with AWS, the 
"Group"), is pleased to announce it has appointed Dr Ros Rivaz as Chair 
Designate. Dr Rivaz will join the boards of both AWG and AWS as Chair Designate 
on 22 November 2023, and will succeed John Hirst as the Group's Chair in due 
course. 
 
Dr Rivaz has extensive leadership experience in blue chip companies, 
particularly in regulated industries. She is currently Senior Independent 
Director at both Computacenter plc and Victrex plc and Lead independent Director 
of Aperam. Previously, Dr Rivaz was Chair of the Nuclear Decommissioning 
Authority and has held non-executive roles with the Defence Equipment and 
Support division of the Ministry of Defence, ConvaTec plc, Boparan Holdings, RPC 
Group plc, Ceva Logistics and Rexam plc. Dr Rivaz also had an extensive 
executive career, culminating as Global Chief Operating Officer of Smith & 
Nephew where she led the group's global transformation. 
 
John Hirst commented:
