IMMEDIATE RELEASE


NEW BOARD APPOINTMENT


Paul Dermody OBE, aged 58, formerly Chief Executive of De Vere Group Plc, has
joined the Board of Aga Foodservice Group as an independent non-executive
director.  He is currently a member of the Government task force on hospital
food and is also a non-executive director of Majestic Wine PLC.  He replaces
Tony Wilson who leaves the Board at the AGM in May after nearly 30 years with
the Group.  Following these changes the Board will comply with the principles of
the revised Combined Code on Board composition. Paul has agreed to be a member
of the Audit and Risk, Nomination and Remuneration Committees.


Vic Cocker, Chairman said: "Paul's great knowledge of the pub and hotel sector
will be of immense benefit to the Board particularly at a time when we are
launching exciting new products for the foodservice sector."


In accordance with Chapter 16.4 of the Listing Rules, no further details are
required to be disclosed under paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to (g).
