Marampa game changer

Timis purchasing the marampa mine & subsequently AMI improving their ongoing cash position is a total game changer in respect of refinancing. Any deal that was on the table prior to news of the marampa mine / AMI synergies would not be appropriate for AMI now. Therefore AMI could easilly have fallen out of bed with the original backer or renegotiate the original deal - Either way, a big delay in completing the deal would be inevitable.

The article was about everything being tough right now. Shandong plans on laying off 10,000 people over the next few years to help make them profitable again.

It's not just the IO companies having trouble raising finances but the steel companies as well. No different I guess than what we've been reading lately.
