RNS Number:1384U African Copper PLC 30 March 2007 PRESS RELEASE 30 March 2007 www.africancopper.com AIM: ACU BSE: African Copper TSX: ACU AFRICAN COPPER Plc ("African Copper" or "the Company") Directors' Shareholdings On 29 March 2007 Brad Kipp exercised options over 350,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company at an exercise price of 35p per option under the terms of a stock option agreement dated 5 April 2004. Mr Kipp sold 250,000 of the shares allotted pursuant to the exercise of options at a price of 66p per share and retained 100,000 of the shares. His beneficial holding in the ordinary shares of the Company is now 300,000 Ordinary Shares (0.2% of the Company's issued share capital). Pursuant to the exercise of a further 350,000 options, the Company announces the issue of 700,000 Ordinary Shares. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for admission of the shares to trading on AIM, which is expected to take place on 5 April 2007.
