Portfolio update and first interim distribution to shareholders 
 
As at the close of business on 23 April 2010, the Company held 13 investments in 
closed end funds valued at bid price at GBP14.1m and net cash available for 
distribution of GBP33.5m. In addition, there were unsettled trades of 
approximately GBP1.9m. 
In accordance with the circular to shareholders, the Joint Liquidators, Laura 
Waters and Richard Setchim, both of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, have declared 
today a first cash distribution at the rate of 119.0p per Ordinary Share. In 
aggregate, the distribution will return GBP33.5m to shareholders. Cheques will 
be dispatched to shareholders shortly. 
 
The largest ten remaining holdings as at 23 April 2010 were Asset Management 
Investment Company, Blackrock Absolute, Bramdean Alternatives, Ceres 
Agriculture, Framlington Innovative, Greenwich Loan Income, Henderson Private 
Equity, Infrastructure India, Marwyn Value and Quorum Oil & Gas.
