Masdar signs a partnership agreement with Endesa for 2.5GW renewable energy assets in Spain 

ABU DHABI, UAE & MADRID, SPAIN - July 25, 2024 - Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC - Masdar ("Masdar"), the UAE's clean energy leader, announced today that it has reached an agreement with the Spanish listed company Endesa S.A. ("Endesa"), for Masdar to acquire a 49.9% stake of all of Endesa's

operational photovoltaic (PV) assets in Spain, subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions. Specifically, this portfolio comprises 48 solar PV facilities with an overall installed capacity of around 2 GW with a potential BESS hybridization for up to 0.5 GW.
