06/3/2017 10:49 | Yes, same with SHRS which has already started. | essentialinvestor
06/3/2017 10:49 | Could the merger of Aberdeen with SL lead to a narrowing of the discount here? SL has a well regarded smaller companies team and the discount is about 10 percentage points lower on the SL UK smaller co trust than on ASCI, although they are not wholly equivalent. The advantages of the merger rest on rationalising common investment funds, so I expect to see managers moved and investment trusts merged. We'll see. | caradog
03/3/2017 11:46 | only have 3.25% of my portfolio here but very happy with the performance to date. | nimbo1
02/3/2017 20:43 | NAV motoring ahead atm. | essentialinvestor
27/2/2017 09:24 | Value will out, lovely )). | essentialinvestor
27/2/2017 09:21 | Great results from Dechra today which is number 2 holding here. Mispricing in the investment trust market must be one of the only places left to regularly exploit obvious market inefficiencies. | nimbo1
15/2/2017 19:40 | Patience has paid off ). | essentialinvestor
15/2/2017 07:42 | Discount is barely changed tho; I'd like to see it at more like 10%. Hopefully plenty more to come for us, & 3% yield while we wait. | spectoacc
14/2/2017 22:09 | All of the smaller companies investment trusts rallying now, well done us for being in on time. | nimbo1
14/2/2017 18:16 | Wow 227 paid on the offer now. | my retirement fund
13/2/2017 16:10 | NAV continuing on up atm and the share price following. | essentialinvestor
10/2/2017 12:04 | Very nice and also see SHRS is getting support, as mentioned thought SHRS was due a move. | essentialinvestor
10/2/2017 10:44 | Same here - I purchased a few more first thing. A lot of UK focussed smaller companies trusts still look like good value with some catching up to do. | nimbo1
10/2/2017 08:58 | Eventually the performance should lead to a narrowing of the discount. In the meantime, more than happy to sit back and pocket the divi. | spectoacc
09/2/2017 18:00 | That looks a record NAV from memory, since the last bear market that is. | essentialinvestor
08/2/2017 13:37 | Another tick up, turning out lovely ). | essentialinvestor
04/2/2017 10:52 | Expecting Shires to get a shift on next week if this market strength continues, ASCI is SHRS largest equity holding at nearly 7% atm. | essentialinvestor
04/2/2017 09:09 | A more reasonable 5% discount to NAV (this isn't really a smallcap IT) would put it at c.£2.51. | spectoacc
02/2/2017 17:46 | Another tick up, will feel dizzy at this rate!. | essentialinvestor
31/1/2017 20:29 | Still a happy holder here - though the charges are too high really, 1.5% TER according to HL. | spectoacc
31/1/2017 19:40 | This looks the highest price for sometime. | essentialinvestor
24/1/2017 10:08 | Purchased another few this morning - an unloved sector and an unloved investment trust - hopefully a good time to buy - a lot of value on offer. Like Henderson Op Trust. | nimbo1
20/1/2017 17:45 | A bit of positive movement. | essentialinvestor
17/1/2017 15:29 | I've just purchased here - discount is crazy although I don't like the spread. It probably struggles from having a small mc so most wealth managers etc don't give it any attention. Did well recently buying BRSC when it was on too higher discount - Brexit has created an opportunity to repatriate funds which have benefited from the strong dollar. | nimbo1
12/1/2017 17:45 | I'm guessing this wont be getting its day in the sun again till brexit is properly sorted, negotiated and done and dusted and we have a decent dynamic decisive government and leadership properly elected by the people this time. so that will be erm not in my lifetime then !.... | my retirement fund |
