On the Bloomberg ticker it says AAL is the top takeover target in a recent survey. I suspect consolidation in this sector this year and would be surprised if there was no bid talk here. Good luck all ðŸ‘￾ðŸ￾»

Six mentions on Market Buzz and now rated moderate buy by the six analysts covering it. It has also been mentioned in the South African press as a takeover. I got that from Interactive Investor but the reference now seems to have been withdrawn. I know not why. If anything leaks it will probably be from the South African end. Still no smoke without ............................ It's enough to make me sink a few more of my hard earned in it. Buy on the rumour, sell on the fact.

Yeah it's cleaning up its act and the likes of BHP have got to be taking notice. DLG has been a pain trade for me, until a few days ago, and AAL has been too really so maybe there is a chance takeover news could return here very soon also 🤞ðŸ￾» Good luck all ðŸ‘￾ðŸ￾»

Thanks for the article. The Woodsmith development is massive for the local area. Some people on here do not seem to care about real people but this project will employ thousands of people for over a hundred years in an area that desperately needs quality jobs. It is also clearly a fantastic organic very low carbon resource ready to be exploited once the granted very large investment is completed. On a different note Anglo being listed on the FTSE is good for the country. Any takeover would likely absorb it onto a different exchange. We are losing too many companies this way and if the city is not providing the money it will have to come from somewhere else. I am a backer of current management and their plan to retain independence. I am also hopeful they will find a way to return Woodsmith to full development speed soon.

.
BHP laying the groundwork (addressing previous concerns) ready to make another offer when the takeover rules allow. Next 2 or 3 weeks I think, not sure on the exact timing.
