SymPowerco Advances Fuel Cell Development Program

CEO John Davenport today reports progress on multiple fronts with the
company's Flowing Electrolyte Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (FEDMFC)
development project.

The company has commenced its recently announced Commercial Design Project by entering discussions aimed at establishing the relationships and resources required to advance the FEDMFC and Hybrid Power System technologies. The discussions include the exploration of potential collaborations with respect to procurement, manufacturing, industrial design and other aspects of the concurrent development paths of the FEDMFC and Hybrid Power System technologies.

The company has also begun the design process of a prototype Hybrid Powered Vehicle that is intended to serve as a test bed for the company's FEDMFC Hybrid Power Systems. SymPowerco is in discussions with an Automotive Laboratory that is expected to build the prototype in collaboration with the company.

The Corporation has submitted what it believes to be final documentation with respect to a government grant application in a major North American jurisdiction. The grant would help advance several aspects of the FEDMFC development process.
