Westlin Corporation (Pink Sheets:WSTN) is pleased to announce that
Montgomery County has selected the Bunker for its emergency operations
center. The center is being relocated to the Westlin Campus from its
former location at the Sheriff’s Office. The
EOC space is in addition to the current County Data Center space which
has been located in the bunker for more than a year.
The Emergency Operations Center will provide the County all the tools it
needs to conduct any emergency operation response ranging from Terrorism
to Hurricanes and rail car disasters. Facilities at the bunker enable
the County to communicate with other regional agencies as well as State
and Federal agencies operating in Southeast Texas.
“We’re honored to
have the Emergency Operations Center relocate here. Over the last year
we have seen a shift in the building from commercial office tenants to
Business Continuity-related tenants and Montgomery County is a great
asset to the site,” said David Herr, President
of Westlin.
