Watchit Media, Inc. "We're delighted that Terry, an exceptional entrepreneur and television producer, has chosen to join our board of directors," stated James Lavelle, Watchit's chairman and chief executive officer. "His proved track record in producing high-impact sporting events and related television programming will be immensely valuable to Watchit as we enter the next stage of our evolution to proprietary television programming." Terry attended the University of Houston and played on their nationally ranked football teams. After school he worked at ABC Sports before returning to Houston and opened the city's sports and entertainment facility, The Summit, where he served as the director of sports, entertainment and television for over seven years. He was a founding member of the Major Indoor Soccer League, eventually bringing his three brothers into the league where they owned and operated teams including the Kansas City Comets. Terry owned many of the teams' television rights which he produced and distributed through his Sportsview Productions television company. He was one of the original program feeders of sports programming to Madison Square Garden and the USA networks. He founded Leiweke Films and expanded into film production including a film on permanent display at the Kennedy Space Center, "Eyes on Venus." He continues to operate Leiweke Films. Recently Mr. Leiweke became chief executive officer of The World Series of Golf, a global sports franchise headquartered in Las Vegas.
