Viscount Announces New Freedom Contracts at Four U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Sites

Viscount Systems (OTCQB: VSYS)(“Viscount” or the “Company”), a software company which specializes in developing and providing physical and logical security solutions for organizations across the enterprise and government sectors, today announced that it has been awarded with contracts to install the Freedom Access Control Solution (“Freedom”) at the facilities of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) in Minnesota, California, Texas, and Guam.

Viscount’s patented Freedom application is a web-based software platform which brings built-in cyber security protection to access control system, reduces the cost of deployment and long term ownership, and provides a future-proof, highly scalable platform for unifying physical and logical security applications.

Freedom meets all requirements of the Federal Identity Credential and Access Management program (“FICAM”) by integrating the personal identity verification credential validation and authentication functions into the access control software, and is also fully compliant with the US government’s FIPS-201 standard and HSPD-12 initiative.
