Vicon Industries Announces Extension of Rights Offering

Rights Offering to Expire November 2, 2017

Vicon Industries, Inc. (NYSE American: VII), a global producer of video security solutions, today announced that it has extended the expiration date of its rights offering to Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. All other terms and conditions of the rights offering remain unchanged.

A registration statement on Form S-1 (Reg. No. 333-219767) relating to the common stock to be sold in the rights offering was declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 18, 2017. The offering will be made only by means of the prospectus which is a part of the registration statement.
