   American Community Development, Inc. (PINK SHEETS: ACDP) announces the appointment of Vice President, Geology.

Brian C. Mahood, P.Geol., P.Geo has been appointed Vice President, Geology.

Mr. Mahood is a senior exploration and development geologist with over 40 years experience in the Canadian petroleum industry. Mr. Mahood obtained a Bachelor of Science (Geology) degree from the University of British Columbia in 1970 and completed the majority of an MBA from the University of Calgary. Mr. Mahood has held intermediate and senior management positions with both junior and senior oil and gas companies, including Canadian Spirit Resources Inc., Spearhead Resources Inc., Unicorp Resources Ltd. and Gulf Canada Resources Limited. He has extensive experience in conventional and unconventional exploration and development geology, acquisition and divestiture of properties, reserve and exploitation studies, horizontal well feasibility studies, project economics and the management of exploration strategy, programs and budgets. He has been involved in drilling over 1000 wells with a success rate over 80%. Mr. Mahood is presently a member in good standing of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG), the Canadian Well Logging Society (CWLS) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).
