HANFORD, Calif., Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Thresher Industries (PinkSheets: THRR) announced today that it has received a purchase order for production quantities of its highly thermal conductive material from an aftermarket automotive customer. Thresher has developed this material for use in applications requiring heat transfer similar to billet aluminum.
Tom Flessner, President / CEO, "Our success in developing this material has given our customer a competitive advantage in their market automotive ignition control units. This $80,000.00 purchase order is for first quarter release 2012 leading to revenues of about $300,000 annually. We have also received a $25,000 order for material used in an agricultural component requiring increased wear resistance and light weight. Our success with these materials and finding niche markets allows us to further refine the manufacturing technology and pull Thresher to profit."
