Strasbaugh (OTC: STRB) is pleased to announce that on February 11th 2015, an agreement was signed with netMercury, making them an official representative of Strasbaugh’s CMP and wafer grinding products in Texas, Idaho and the four corners region of the United States.

Terry Hollingshead, netMercury’s President stated, “we are eager to add CMP and grinding equipment to our product offering. Strasbaugh’s new and legacy systems fit well with our goal to provide high-performance equipment at a competitive price.”

Strasbaugh’s systems are used to manufacture a wide variety of mobile devices including: MEMS, LED, RF/power devices, thin film heads, and ICs. The grinding equipment is used for a broad range of compound materials and applications including: silicon carbide, silicon, gallium arsenide, germanium, and indium phosphide. Strasbaugh’s CMP systems are ideal for oxide, tungsten, polysilicon, SOI, and other thin film applications.
